Thurrock Borough Council and Laven Advisors LLP have reached an agreement for the full and final settlement of the litigation in the High Court concerning the Council’s investments in certain bonds issued by Escher Marwick plc in connection with Just Cash Flow plc.
The terms of the settlement will remain confidential, and neither party will make any further comment regarding the agreement. The settlement was reached without any admission of liability or wrongdoing by Laven Advisors LLP, and there have been no findings by any court or regulator against Laven Advisors LLP.
